Casting
The Globe Theatre Company is an experimental theatre company, exploring the relationship between actors and audience in an Elizabethan amphitheatre. Sound and story are the most dynamic elements of our work. How to share inner truth without betraying its reality in the sharing is our major question.
Rehearsals for the Globe theatre season start in March and the plays open approximately six weeks later. Since the Globe is an open air theatre, weather dictates that the season finishes at the beginning of October.
Casting takes place between January and mid-March each year for the following season's plays. Owing to the particular demands of playing Shakespeare in this unique theatre space, auditions can be by invitation only.
