Key statistics from 2006/7 Annual Review

  • The 2007 Renaissance and Revolution theatre season which embraced both Shakespeare plays and new writing, played to a total of over 320,000 people with an average attendance of 82% (2006: 75%) – despite a summer of consistently poor weather and the weakness of the US dollar
  • 276,000 paying visitors experienced the Tour and Exhibition with a further 20,241 visitors undertaking £3 ‘quick visits’ to view the theatre
  • Globe Education reached over 100,000 people during the period, through workshops, public events, performances and courses
