Shakespeare's Language, Shakespeare's Stage
This workshop offers students a way of approaching Shakespeare's plays through the context of the Globe playhouse. Through practical exploration students are encouraged to develop an understanding of Shakespeare' characters and plots, and to engage with the text as a script for performance.
Workshops provide an introduction to Shakespeare's work and the Globe Theatre, and will focus on the play of your choice. This 90-minute session includes a guided visit to the theatre.
October to April: Monday to Friday at 10.30, 12.30 & 14.00
May to September: Monday to Friday at 10.30, 11.30 & 12.30
£7 per student (minimum charge of £150 per class)

We can accommodate up to 3 classes of 30 students at one time, subject to availability.
Full day visits
A Day on Bankside
This programme combines the workshop Shakespeare's Language,Shakespeare's Stage (see above) with a guided visit to the theatre and admission to Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition.
Year round: Monday to Friday at 10.30-14.00 or 11.00-14.00
£10.50 per student (minimum charge of £225 per class)

Practical SATs Study Day for National Tests at KS3
Following a visit to the Globe Theatre, students explore both KS3 scenes from your chosen play in the context of the Globe playhouse, and consider how performance conditions in the Globe inform our understanding of character and language in the two scenes.
February to April only: Monday to Friday at 10.30-14.00 or 11.30-15.30
£12.50 per student (minimum charge of £310 per class)
