Half day visit

An Introduction to Shakespeare and his World
Students explore the performance conditions of the Globe playhouse. They are encouraged to respond to Shakespeare’s plays as stories to be shared between actor and audience, and to experiment with the sounds and rhythms of Shakespeare’s poetry and prose.

Workshops provide an introduction to Shakespeare’s work and the Globe Theatre and will focus on the play of your choice. The 90 minute session includes a half hour guided visit to the theatre and a one hour workshop on any Shakespeare play.

We can accommodate up to 4 classes of 30 students at one time, subject to availability.

Full day visit

A Day on Bankside
This programme combines the workshop An Introduction to Shakespeare and his World (see above) with a guided visit to the theatre and admission to Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition.

Fee: £11 per student - minimum charge of £160 + £3.50 per head entry to the Exhibition
Teachers free
We can accommodate up to 4 classes of 30 students at one time, subject to availability.
