Introducing Shakespeare and the Globe

• A 90 minute session led by a Globe Education Practitioner
• Including a half hour guided visit to the theatre and a one hour workshop
• The workshop is based on any Shakespeare play of your choice

A lively introduction for students who have little or no knowledge of Shakespeare's work, or who have studied the plays in translation.

October to April

Can be combined with a visit to Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition.

Unser Globe/Unser Shakespeare

Globe Education has an exclusive arrangement with S-E-T, Bremen, for German groups wishing to visit Shakespeare's Globe for our Lively Action Programme. This is because of the very high number of students that we welcome from Germany and the limited space we have available to us for workshops and lectures. Thus, any German school or travel company wishing to book with us must do so through S-E-T in Bremen.

Unser Globe
For students aged 11-16
Comprises an actor led workshop and a visit to the Globe Theatre. Students will be encouraged to develop core language skills and will work to make their own discoveries about the Elizabethan playhouse.

Unser Shakespeare
For students aged 16+ (Oberstufenschüler)
Introduces students to Shakespeare, the Globe and London 400 years ago, through a mixture of actor presentation, storytelling and audience participation. Unser Shakespeare lasts 90 minutes and includes a guided visit to the Globe Theatre.
