I hope you all enjoyed Sophie’s report last week. With the show opening in just 2 weeks and tickets selling fast the mood at camp Footsbarn is jolly, if quite hectic. As the team start their final set of rehearsals this week (we'll update you next week) I thought I would tell you about the other fun, festive goings on that you can already enjoy at the Globe.

Out on the piazza we have some delightful wooden chalets selling hot drinks, mulled wine, roast chestnuts, Globe Shop goodies and more. So between watching the Christmas Cracker, taking in the Exhibition and a wander by the river come and say hello to our friendly staff and warm yourself up.

If you are feeling in need of a more substantial meal, our delightful on-site brasserie, the Swan at the Globe, offers a daily changing menu of hearty winter fare with a full range of drinks to compliment your choice of food.

Looking for that last minute Christmas gift? Then be sure to stop by our lovely shop which is looking very Christmassy with all the decorations on display. As well as our usual season and play related items we have gifts, cards and the aforementioned decorations in for Christmas. The shop is open every day from 10am to 6pm.
