Shakespeare's Birthday 2009

Today is patriotically established as Shakespeare's birthday and to celebrate there will be a free special event outside the Globe on Bankside before the 2009 theatre season opens with Shakespeare’s most famous love-story, Romeo & Juliet.

There is be live music from the Globe musicians, stilt walkers and balloon twisters, all contributing to an informal party atmosphere.

Time: 6.00pm
