Every May, 14-year olds across England and Wales sit a test on Shakespeare, but what did Shakespeare himself look like at 14?

To mark the launch of Globe Education’s winter season, The Young & Shakespeare, a series of public events for all ages, the Globe together with the Metropolitan Police artist, Cathy Charsley, have created an image of Shakespeare as he may have looked as a 14.

The Young & Shakespeare public events include half-term events for families in the Globe Exhibition, including Storytelling in the Tiring House, public lectures and play readings, and an open day in association with The Open University.
